Mariko Raynor

Mariko Raynor: Mariko began her career in family law 15 years ago. She was a paralegal for 10 years before transitioning to the role of firm administrator. Mariko’s passion for client satisfaction coupled with her attention to detail make her an excellent firm administrator. She is an active member of the Association of Legal Administrators and the Puget Sound Association of Legal Administrators as well as the Society for Human Resource Management. Mariko lives in West Seattle with her husband, son and daughter. In her spare time, she can usually be found at a baseball field or dance recital.


Amanda Mickus:
Amanda Mickus joined Meridian Family Law in March 2013 as the firm’s office coordinator. Amanda quickly realized that the firm’s passion for helping clients through difficult times in their lives was something that she wanted to continue to be a part of. Over the last 10 years, Amanda worked her way from the front desk to becoming the firm’s senior paralegal and now helps oversee the firm’s paralegal team with the firm administrator. Amanda lives in Seattle with her husband, toddler and retriever puppy. In her spare time, you’ll find her with her nose in a book, dancing ballet or going on an outdoor adventure.

Sofia Sanchez: Sofia Sanchez began her career in the legal profession in 2000. She received her Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies from Highline Community College. Sofia is fluent in Spanish and has worked as an interpreter for both attorneys and clients. She diligently applies her attention to detail and organizational skills to each case. Sofia joined Meridian Family Law in June 2021.

Veronica Waters: Veronica has over 13 years of experience working in the legal field. She began her legal career with a focus on general civil matters and family law, moved into insurance defense and construction litigation for several years, and returned to family law as that is where her heart is. She loves connecting with clients and creating a comfortable rapport to better assist them through a difficult time in their lives. In her free time, Veronica spends time with her family, reads voraciously and loves to learn.

Janice Dahl: Janice has over 25 years of experience working in the legal field. She began her legal career with a focus on family law, and then moved into personal injury, insurance defense and construction litigation. Janice has come back to family law and enjoys being an advocate for our clients during, which for some, is one of the more stressful times of their lives. In her free time, Janice enjoys training horses and being a riding instructor.

Christina Casciola: Chrisina is originally from California. She graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. She began her career as a paralegal 11 years ago in civil litigation issues then moved to family law in 2016. Christina is passionate about connecting with clients and helping families through complex legal situations. When she is not working, Christina loves spending time with her family and friends.

Michael Styrbicki: Michael began his legal career in 1994, navigating roles from court running, service process and legal services to paralegal work in California. Transitioning to Washington, he immersed himself in tech and biotech, specializing on transactions and contract drafting & management (with side forays into banking and NGO transactional work). Currently, Michael is working on transactions and contract management in the aerospace industry, and also handling family law, probate, and small business and civil litigation. Beyond law, Michael enjoys visual arts, urban hiking, and dedicates his vacations to photo safaris and hikes.
